Community Based & Nonprofit Partners

Partner with SSP International to support your organization’s goals of more accessible education opportunities for a wider range of students.

Our program, your community, one shared mission

In 2024, SSPI’s Student Success team established its first formal partnership pathway with community-based and non-profit organizations who provide free educational and college access support to students from underrepresented backgrounds in STEM. These partnerships are guided by a shared agreement focused on making the admissions process clearer, more supportive, and more accessible for students and their families. The Student Success team works closely with partner organizations to answer questions, share resources and information, and streamline the application process, while partners encourage students to apply and help them navigate application and enrollment steps. Partners also play an important role as trusted intermediaries, passing along questions and concerns that students or families may feel hesitant about.

In the pathway’s first year, SSPI partnered with 17 organizations, resulting in 63 complete applications. Fifty-five students were admitted, and 41 enrolled. Looking forward, Student Success is excited to expand this partnership program, working toward broadening access to SSPI programs and strengthening pathways into STEM.
