presented by Victoria Paterno, MD ’70

Vaccines save millions of lives, yet their science and impact are often misunderstood. In this talk, alum Victoria Paterno, MD ’70 will explore vaccines from three perspectives: the diseases they prevent, the immune system science behind them, and the role of social media in shaping public trust. Together, these perspectives reveal both the power of vaccines and the challenges they face in today’s world.
