Guest Lecture Series
Every summer, the Summer Science Program curates a “Guest Lecture Series” for each program, featuring presentations by renowned scientists, academics, researchers, and other trained professionals who offer valuable industry and scientific insights and experiences that inspire and stimulate the minds of our young participants.
The guest lectures begin with a presentation that is followed by a reception where participants get to interact with the guests informally to ask them questions, learn more about their stories, and receive transformative advice.

“I so much enjoy talking to the brilliant young students at SSP. My trips there are among the highlights of my year.”
Dr. Nick Suntzeff
Former TA, Cosmologist, and Prof. of Observational Astronomy,
Texas A&M University
“After presenting at SSP for the past three summers, I know these teenagers will restore your faith in humanity and hope for the future. I feel a bit guilty about getting more out of the experience than they do.”
