Summer Science Program Appoints Frank Steslow as Chief Executive Officer
The Summer Science Program (SSP) Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank Steslow as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective March 1. Steslow will succeed Richard Bowdon ’74, who is retiring after years of dedicated service as Executive Director.
Steslow brings a distinguished career in the nonprofit science sector, most recently serving as CEO of the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Miami, Florida. With over 20 years of leadership experience, he has been instrumental in advancing science education, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving organizational growth.
Under Steslow’s leadership, SSP will continue to strengthen its strategic direction, expand its reach, and deepen its impact on aspiring young scientists. The organization, now in its 63rd year, remains committed to providing immersive, hands-on scientific experiences for high school students nationwide.
“I am excited to join the Summer Science Program as CEO,” said Steslow. “SSP has a long-standing reputation for excellence in STEM education, and I look forward to leading the organization through its next phase of growth while building on the strong foundation established over the decades.”
The SSP community eagerly welcomes Steslow and looks forward to the vision and expertise he will bring to the organization in 2023 and beyond.
