NASA Pennsylvania Space Grant Consortium

A grant from the NASA Pennsylvania Space Grant Consortium (NASA cooperative agreement 80NSSC25M7092) will support Summer Science Program teaching assistants at the 2026 astrophysics program at Lehigh University. This funding helps create meaningful opportunities for our teaching assistants to strengthen their leadership, teaching, and mentorship skills while guiding students through immersive, hands-on astrophysics research experiences.

The PSGC’s mission is to expand opportunities for Pennsylvanians to learn about and participate in NASA’s aeronautics and space programs by supporting STEM education, research, and outreach programs.

Lilly

Bacterial genomics and biochemistry programs at Indiana University Bloomington and Purdue University for the 2026 Summer Science Program will be supported by a contribution from Lilly.

Lilly supports turning science into healing by funding STEM and healthcare education.

Bank of America Client Foundation, Bank of America, N.A., Trustee

A grant from the Bank of America Client Foundation, Bank of America, N.A., Trustee will support the 2026 Summer Science Program to provide accessible educational experiences that prepare participants for higher education and careers, including STEM.

The Foundation supports arts, historic preservation, education, and human service organizations.

SSPI also thanks Celestron for supporting telescope equipment for the 2026 astrophysics program at Albion College, Lehigh University, Linfield University, and University of Wisconsin-River Falls; and 4imprint for recruitment materials to reach underserved youth.
