Astro GCSU SSP Blog Day 0

GANG is Gang.

Today is day 0 of SSP! 

There wasn’t supposed to be a Blog for today, but we are doing one because it is our GANG GANG Abhinav’s birthday. 🤑🎂! 

This guy (Abhinav) had NO IDEA what the faculty was planning and got caked in the face 😞 (just kidding, maybe not). It is true that he didn’t know what was planned though; we arrived on campus and were asking around for people’s ages and Abhinav mentioned that he turned 17 TODAY. WHAT A YOUNG JIT 🤑.

Like he just casually dropped that it was his birthday. WE THE GANG got to scheming and found out that some of the TAs already had a plan. We weren’t gonna tell Abhinav that though.

In his mind we had a devious plan; on many occasions we told him to walk off to the side so we could “scheme” (we didn’t do anything).

Anyways after dinner we walked back for announcements and welcome statements. Then, Thomas, Delaney, and Rithwik (TA/RAs) came out with cupcakes!!! Wow we totally planned that. Abhinav was very surprised; in his words “way more grandiose than I expected.” The icing was also made out of some kind of radioactive substance because everyone’s teeth were turned blue and the icing seemed to get everywhere. 

Then, there were also supposed to be icebreakers, but everyone was tired, so they turned us out to go to bed. No PSETS so far (starting tomorrow…) 🙏🙏🙏In Bell (our dorm) we are safe. No problem sets allowed here.

Abhinav (holy yapper): Thank you Seojin, Luke, and Justin for making this a memorable experience. I will never forget this for years to come 🙏.
