Linfield University Astrophysics Day 32: The Day of Wrath, Misery, and Torment
(please read in a medieval British accent)
At last, the day hath been brought forth to venture out into the great wide world of Linfield, and presenteth our projects to the unknowns of the people. Though today brings much importance to our SSP journey, I wake up just the same: tired and late to work.
At 11:30, we part ways and head to lunch. Nate leaves his nametag accidentally. Fortunately, I am very chivalrous and kindly return it to him.
After lunch we all dressed eloquently, and presented our scientific findings. To our surprise the CEO of SSP made a daring visit to our presentations. That was pretty cool.
Next we headed to dinner and ate dinner. Afterwards, we took a short recess to rehearse our acts before performing in the mandated talent show. Off the top of my head, I remember Maxwell playing Minecraft songs eloquently on the masterful piano, Anshveer and Caleb did a beautiful rendition of Obi Wan and Anakin’s duel on Mustafar, I sang beautifully (obviously) multiple times, Mihir performed blind speed chess (though he was too afraid to dare challenge me), Maryl and Rosalyn did a very confusing magic show, and there were many others, though currently I do not wish to take up more time as is.
We took a brief intermission to head to the auditorium for a very confusing short film. However, there was trouble actually playing the video because the file was too big or something idk I’m not a computer person. While we waited, more people sang karaoke, and the entire 36 of us got on stage and sang Golden by Huntrix. When the video finally played, it was alright. I expected more.
Finally, we all returned back to the dorms. Questionably, I did not pack this night. I would instead wait till the very last moment of tomorrow night to do so.
Overall today was pretty good.
