The Impact of Giving
Thanks to our incredible donors, SSP International can offer generous financial aid and stipends to participants of the Summer Science Program, expand our programs to include exciting new projects, hire world-class faculty, support alumni who are first-generation college students throughout their careers, and much more.
Our donors have enabled us to make science education more inclusive, impactful, and accessible.
- In 2024, 48% of our Summer Science Program participants received financial aid, totaling $1.5 million.
- Since 2024, 12 Summer Science Program participants who would otherwise have to work in the summer have received $3,000 stipends in addition to free participation each summer.
- In 2024, we had 107 young alumni mentors and 174 mentees participating in College Link. Since its beginning in 2020, we have had 581 mentors, and 676 mentees participate.

You can recommend a donation to SSP International through a donor-advised fund (DAF) set up through a community foundation, a financial institution such as Fidelity or Schwab, or other DAF sponsors. A DAF allows you to receive an immediate tax deduction when you invest in the fund, receive tax-free growth, and then recommend gifts from the funds to charities over time.
If you have a DAF held by Fidelity Charitable, DAFgiving360, or BNY Mellon Charitable Gift Fund you can use the link below to enter your gift amount and designation. You will then be taken through your DAF login page to finalize your recommendation.

After the age of 70 ½ donating up to $100,000 directly to SSP International from your traditional IRA is absolutely free of income or capital gains taxes and counts toward your annual Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). It’s a smarter alternative to donating after-tax dollars.

2. Convey SSP International’s EIN (94-3341965) and mailing address (SSP International, Inc., 1207 Delaware Ave #680, Wilmington, DE 19806) to your IRA custodian with the donation amount.

Make a bigger impact by donating long-term appreciated securities, including stock, bonds, and mutual funds, directly to SSP International. When you donate stock, you can generally take a tax deduction for the full fair market value.
