Crashing Out, Yapping, and Chilling with Kat (Purdue Biochem I Day 16 — Kat)
Hellooooo twinssss!!
Welcome to Day 16 of SSP Biochem @ Purdue!! Today we had a late start (bless Dr.Das) so I was able to get a good 9 hours of sleep last night. If you have not already heard, I am the person who watches musicals when I get ready for the day (yes I do sing to them and trust my voice is amazing). I got ready for the day and here is a picture of me and my friends walking to CHAS (the lab) to get started for the day.

After we got to the lab, we started working on Class Activity 09 which included working with our assay data with Excel (yay….) I will definitely say I was STRUGGLING. Using this platform was really hard because of the long equations so it’s safe to say I was crashing out. Appreciation to my gang Aubrey for helping me out cause he’s too smart frfr. I mean of course I contributed.

ANYWAY AFTER, I started to feel better because LUNCH IS NEXT YAYAYAYAYAYA. Here is a mini vlog of me and some of my friends yapping about our first activity we did in the lab and how we were all struggling 🙂
My friends and I decided on eating poké at the union 🙂 In my opinion, the poké place is the best for your bank because it’s good and affordable. Here is a time lapse of me and my friends eating and yapping about life 🙂
After lunch, we had a chance to finish our class activity and we also had time to perform our Excel spreadsheet on our own data from our assays, allowing us to see similarities and differences with our triplicate trials. After this, we had a short Writing Workshop lecture where Dr. Sikora discussed how to properly display our graphs when writing our final lab report.

After lecture, we had some time to change before going to dinner at Earhart. Earhart has lately been SOOOOOO packed because of a Christian leaders camp that stays at our dorms. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a picture of the dining hall because it was so hectic but basically I sat with one of our fellow TAs Anthonyyyyyy and we yapped about life too.

Once we got back from dinner, I had a nice shower and was chilling in my bed while I waited for my roomie Eva to get back from her run because she’s so athletic.

When she got back, we both started getting ready for bed. When I was brushing my teeth, I bumped into my fellow Amiga Dal and we bonded over brushing our teeth.

When we finished, I went back to my room and watched Love Island with my roomie Eva because it is our favorite debrief activity to do before bed. (she is ride or die for Huda while I think it’s kinda controversial)

Finally, I finished the night by starting a bracelet for one of my amigas Angie.

Here is a picture of me and my fav roomie Eva ready for bed. (we are literally meant to be)
