Purdue Biochem II Day 33 – Benny

Hello! My name is Benny and I am from Kingston, New York.

As we come closer to the final day we still have a report time of 8:00 am. Starting the day off with a survey that measured our progress and performance I definitely felt more fluent in the questions compared to the first survey. Thankfully Dr. Spratt was making sure everybody was supported and the space was quiet for those still taking the survey (Figure 1).

We had expanded boundaries this day and so I ventured out with Arham. We settled on going to Strings Ramen to try out something new, having only been out for expanded boundaries twice. To our surprise we saw basically every participant in the restaurant as more kept swarming in. Before deciding on my order of Shoyu Ramen, I taught Arham how to use chopsticks. Spending only 7 minutes, I was surprised by his proficiency (Figure 2).

After that quick lecture, me and Arham both got our order delivered (figure 3). When we took our first we were both surprised by how delicious the broth was. From the eggs, noodles, pork, and seaweed everything was so amazingly good. We decided to make a plan to try to come back at extended borders again to explore other parts of the menu. Being so tasty, it was definitely worth its cost especially with the atmosphere. (Figures 3 & 4)

We also wanted to take some good looking group photos so we took many masterpieces as shown in Figure 5.

As a sidenote, it is important to review previous lecture material for improving retention. Thanks to Isaias we all are able to have a visual to remember the concepts of exchange value and use values from Hassan’s lecture (Figure 6).

In all seriousness, this program has been amazing and I have had such an amazing opportunity to be surrounded by those who are more capable than me. I will fly away with the desire to continue improving and experimenting. Thanks everyone and my fellow MC YABBS!
